What the Germans Left Behind

This is a story that my mom told me. "Growing up in Jersey there were constant reminders of the German occupation. My house was five minutes away from the German Underground Hospital which was built by the prisoners of war. This hospital is now a museum. We played on and in gun towers which are on the coastline of the island."
